     Lulworth Castle Medieval Festival

Saturday September 8th  and  Sunday September 9th   2007

Lulworth Castle is situated near Wareham, Dorset. Over this weekend, the site brought Medieval England back to life for a packed weekend of Family fun and entertainment. Please take a look at this report and "Get Stuck into History" with the Lulworth Castle Medieval Festival of 2007.

The Battle of Castillon (1453) was refought, to show combat from the 100 Years War period.

We also had the Master of the Mews, with his final Falconry display, and hope that you will join us in wishing Alisdair and his family all the best in the future - you will be missed by all of us!

Also, some of the largest working Medieval Cannon in Europe, were brought to you by the Star Gun Company, with one of the largest collections of working Black powder cannon in Europe.

We will be returning to Lulworth on September 13/14th 2008 with a Multiperiod Festival, where we hope you will join us once again, & "Get stuck into History"
