Working together with event participants
PASTE strongly believes in working in partnership with re-enactors and other performers. From directing Turn Key Events to sourcing individual performers and groups, working together, for the benefit of client and performers alike, we always strive to obtain the best results. We have built up a strong working relationship and are trusted by top performers which really does make a difference to the performance that you and your visitors will see.
Unfortunately some event organisers and media companies still see performers as little more than a resource to be exploited. We believe this is the wrong approach to this valuable service. Performers are people and to fully motivate them to provide their best, they need to be respected and treated as people. This particularly applies to the many volunteer re-enactor Groups who spend large sums on their clothing and kit but usually individually receive no fee, the latter going to their parent society to cover basic running costs including administration and insurance.
A trusted partnership with performers was the key to the success of our early event programmes in 2002 and 2005. Now PASTE offers this same successful formula to new clients in the event sector. By identifying and understanding the needs, requirements and skills of all parties involved, we simplify event organisation, minimise the risk of misunderstandings, maximise safety and creativity and so provide top quality performances. This certainly works and without this mutual respect the success of the Bovington Tank Museum 2005 Event , other subsequent major events could not have been possible.
Re-enactment groups and other performers interested in taking part in our other events are invited to contact us for further details. Please also check out our Standard terms and conditions for participation.
