Discovery Tour
A discovery tour exploring Weymouth and Melcombe Regis old harbour side.
Meet at the Pavilion Theatre, at the relocated Tourist Information Center, and come for a fascinating walk with our costumed guides along the pleasant waterside, and learn all about the gruesome Black Death, defeat of the Spanish Armada by a local hero leading ships from this harbour to defeat the fearsome enemy, local Smugglers, a forgotten English Civil War battle, hidden secrets in the backstreets of these twin towns, and fantastic panoramic views from the Chapelhay heights and Nothe peninsular, before returning to Brewers Quay where we end our tour.
